The Connecting Link
The Eleventh Step Towards Riches
Do You remember the feeling of riding a cycle/bike for the first time? Have you ever tried to learn a new thing? How was the feeling?
Most likely, first attempts to synchronize a new set of complex actions are always difficult. Till it became a habit for us.
Do you ever think about why this happens to us?
Yes, Right this is why this blog
The answer is the Subconscious mind.
While we try to learn a new thing which we never did before, that feels difficult for us. Because we never did this before, but when slowly doing it repeatedly it becomes our habit it feels comfortable and easy to repeat that work. When we start doing a thing again and again our mind tries to capture its pattern and try to understand the work; when our subconscious mind catches the pattern of the work it saves into its memory; just like a computer. And when we try to do the same thing again it retrieves the experience regarding that work and works on comfortably.
When we learn bikes for the first time it is so difficult to remember all the things like gear on left foot, back tier break is on right side foot, an accelerator is on right side hand, and light switch, horn clutch, etc. But when we repeat the riding we slowly remember all those things and without any hesitation and fear we ride a bike, that means our subconscious mind memorized all the pattern regarding handle a bike. Like this, our subconscious mind helps us in our daily life. Our mind is just the tip of an ice-berg, which hides a lot of things inside itself.
The subconscious mind consists of a field of consciousness, in which every impulse of thought that reaches the conscious mind through any of the five senses, is classified and recorded, and from which thoughts may be recalled or withdrawn as letters may be taken from a filing cabinet.
The subconscious mind works daily either it is day or night. The subconscious mind plays a crucial rule in transmutes ones desire into their physical equivalent.
We can't entirely control our subconscious mind, but we can voluntarily hand over to it any plan, desire, or purpose which you wish transformed into concrete form. We discuss this topic before on Desire and Autosuggestion topic. Remember that the subconscious mind may be voluntarily directed only through habit. Everything in this world which man creates begins with a thought impulse. Man can create nothing which he does not first conceive in thought. through the aid of imagination, thought impulses may be assembled into plans. The imagination when, when under control, may be used for the creation of plans or purposes that lead to success in ones's chosen occupation. All thought impulses, intended for transmutation into their physical equivalent, voluntarily planted in the subconscious mind must pass through the imagination and be mixed with faith. The subconscious mind takes decision mainly depends upon our "feelings" or emotions. If the feelings are strong, the subconscious mind tries to learn that thing rapidly and it will. There are several positive and negative emotions which trigger the subconscious mind, they are;
The Seven Major Positive Emotions
The emotions of Desire
The emotion of Faith
The emotions of Love
The emotion of Sex
The emotion of Enthusiasm
The emotion of Romance
The emotion of Hope
The Seven Major Negative Emotions
(To Be Avoided)
The emotion of Fear
The emotion of Jealously
the emotion of Hatred
the emotion of Revenge
The emotion of Greed
The emotion of Superstition
The emotion of Anger.
Positive and negative emotions cannot occupy the mind at the same time. One or other must dominate. It is our responsibility to make sure that positive constitute the dominating influence of your mind. If you pray for a thing but have fear as you pray that you may not receive it, or that your prayer will not be acted upon by infinite intelligence, your prayer will have been vain.
The subconscious mind is the intermediary, which translates one's prayer into terms which infinite intelligence can recognize, presents the message, and brings back the answer in the form of a definite plan or idea for procuring the object of the prayer. Understand this principle and you will know why mere words read from a prayer book cannot, and will never serve as an agency of communication between the mind of man and Infinite Intelligence.
